Pure Witness was purchased from Banksia Park Alpaca Stud WA in early 2007 to introduce new blood to the Warralinga herd and to complement the lines we were producing. He is a comprehensive male with some special attributes for us, such as a high profile, unrelated pedigree to the rest of our herd. But we particularly value Witness for his superfine fleece, lack of guard hair, uniformity, exquisite softness & handle and his superbly gentle temperament. Witness confirmed our hopes for his show career when he was awarded Champion Intermediate Male at Sydney Royal in 2007, followed by numerous other major awards since then, including placings at Melbourne Royal 2007, Sydney Royal 2008, Reserve Champion at Canberra Royal and Champion Adult Male at Hawkesbury Show 2008. He commenced stud duties in May 08 as a two-year old. He is co-owned with The Gorge Alpacas, Arcadia NSW.
