Lyn & Graeme Dickson of Warralinga are specialist huacaya breeders, committed to excellence in all aspects of their alpaca farming operation. Visitors are always welcome and overnight accommodation can be provided by prior arrangement. First class agistment facilities are also available.

 

 

dam_view Warralinga Alpaca Stud is located at Glossodia in the picturesque Hawkesbury Valley of New South Wales on the outskirts of Sydney at the foot of the Blue Mountains - just ten minutes from historic Windsor, ten minutes from North Richmond and approximately ninety minutes from the Sydney CBD (less if outside of peak traffic). It is a peaceful, secure ten hectare property, complete with quarantine facilities, running an MN3 alpaca herd of around 70 to 100 alpacas at any given time, with expert care and attention to detail.

Any alpacas sold by Warralinga are well-handled (young stock are always halter-trained) and come with rock-solid after sales service, friendly support, veterinary health certificates, formal contracts of sale and fertility guarantees.

The breeding goals at Warralinga are to produce alpacas with the following attributes:

  • True-to-type huacayas with fine to superfine, soft-handling, dense, crimpy fleeces
  • Excellent frames and correct conformation
